Anna Li awarded Undergraduate Cardiovascular Research Summer Fellowship

Undergraduate Anna Li, a current junior in the WashU BME Department, has recently been awarded the WashU Cardiovascular Research Summer (CardS) Scholarship, jointly funded by the American Heart Association and Washington University, for the summer of 2023. As a CardS Fellow in the Silva Lab, she will study under Ph.D. candidate Lucy Woodburn to explore the calcium-dependent binding mechanisms of the Nav1.5 sodium channel crucial to proper cardiac electrophysiology.
